secure-send for Sage 50 Payroll is the ideal electronic payslip (ePayslip) solution for Sage users. The Sage payroll users can now email password-protected employee payslips straight from their Sage software.
How secure-send for Sage 50 Payroll works
Example: Sending an electronic payslip
Using secure-send is easy. The Sage 50 Payroll user collates all the pay details as usual and then selects the print button. They choose the secure-send virtual printer from the menu and then are able to preview the electronic versions of their ePayslips. When they are happy with what they see they can then approve and send the ePayslips. The inbuilt intelligence separates the file into individual documents which are then matched to the email address and sent out securely.
The experience is equally as easy for the employees. Initially, they are sent a welcome email which has links to our secure system where they are asked to set up their password. When their pay details are ready (weekly or monthly) they will be sent an email asking them to decrypt their ePayslip using their unique password. They simply open their PDF which will show them their pay details laid out in the same way as their old paper versions.
In order to get to their historical payslips the employees can either link to the online archive from their current ePayslip or they can log on (here website address to be confirmed), using their unique secure-send user details.

Secure-Send for Sage Accounting is a cost effective electronic stationery solution for Sage users. It's like recorded delivery for email but with a fully trackable audit trail. Sage customers can extract, track and send securely their invoices, statements and remittances direct from their Sage software. This saves valuable processing time, print & post costs and admin time. Plus, the rapid auditing information can help users manage their customer and supplier relationships by understanding who has done what with their forms.
How Secure-Send for Sage 50 Accounting Works
Example: Sending an invoice
The Sage users processes the invoices as normal(daily, weekly or monthly). They then simply go to print as normal. They then select the secure-send virtual printer. Once selected, the data is then turned into a Sage compatible PDF invoice which they can preview, change colour and drop in their logo. The user can approve the invoice and decide whether it should be sent securely or whether it should go via recorded email delivery. The only difference is that for the latter the recipient doesn't have to enter their password.
When the invoice has been sent, the user can then track to see whether it has been opened, accepted, queried or marked as pending. With this information to hand, the accounts user can then decide which invoices to chase. This helps with customer and supplier relationships as it becomes more transparent if there is a problem or not.
The experience is equally as easy for the recipients. Initially, they are sent a welcome email which has links to our secure system where they are asked to set up their password. Invoices arrive via email as a PDF attachment. The recipient can then click on one of the buttons on the top of the invoice and accept, reject or mark it as pending. There is also an opportunity for them to include a note such as 'I didn't order item 3'. These notes are then returned to the sender and the status of the invoice is updated within secure-send for Sage 50 Accounts.
